If your phone system does not ring when you have an incoming call, it could be the result of a number of reasons. Let’s find out.
- Notification settings: If the notifications on your browser are turned off or your mobile device is set to Do Not Disturb, you will not receive a push notification when there is an incoming call, and therefore your Rippledesk phone system will not ring. If you want to be notified of incoming calls, make sure your browser notifications are turned on or your mobile is not in Do Not Disturb mode.
- Business hours: You won’t receive a notification for incoming calls outside business hours, but your customers will receive your customized away message and the call will be recorded as a missed call. Click here to manage business hours.
- Availability: If your availability is set to offline, your Rippledesk phone system will not ring when there is an incoming call. To make or receive calls, make sure your availability is set to online.
